This is a picture from 2019, but I heard my friend say that she saw the Lady's Slipper orchids blooming on the Arkaqua Trail just last week.  I took this picture on the trail going up to Brasstown Bald.  There are thousands of these wild orchids up there.  This is my Mother's Day present for you today.
