Arugula seedlings!!!

This may not look like much to you....but to me, it is PURE JOY!!!!  Arugula seedlings!!!!

I planted arugula seeds on March 5th, and have been checking them almost daily since!!  When the ground is warm they germinate in about three days.  But with all this cold, it's taken nearly three weeks!!!!  That's OK, they're up, and will be fine.  We love this patch of arugula.  It feeds us in spring, summer, and fall.

Next I better check on my radish sprouts out in the garden.  They've been subjected to the cold too.  Same family:  radish, mustard, arugula, cabbage, broccoli, kale.  They all like the cooler weather, just not below freezing!!   Right now, they are tiny, but when I thin the seedlings, we'll have sprouts in our salads.  So tasty!!

I hope you are surviving the extended cold weather.   Done any good projects??  Got any tips for managing "cabin fever?"  We'd love to hear about them;  pictures are good too.  Email me, and I will share them here on the website.

HAPPY GARDENING!!!
