Group
Complexity:
Very Easy
Total Time:
1 hour 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup Rice Chex cereal
1 cup Wheat Chex cereal
1 cup Corn Chex cereal
1 cup Mixed nuts (roasted)
1 cup Peanuts (roasted)
1 cup Small Pretzels
1/2 stick butter
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Old Bay
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Using a large roasting pan, layer cereals, nuts and pretzels, mix well.
In a small saucepan melt the butter.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and Old Bay to the melted butter, mix well.
Pour over the cereal mix, and toss well.
Toast in the oven for 1 hour, tossing every 15 minutes.
Spread the Mix on paper, until cool.
Store in airtight containers.
Cook's Notes:
The original recipe calls for 3/4 cup of butter and 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce. We like it with a little less fat.
We love the zip of Old Bay to season this Mix.
