Janet’s Cobbler

I never knew Janet, but I love her recipe.

Total Time:
15 minutes prep, 1 hour bake time
Ingredients:
1/4 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1 quart fruit or berries
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375*
Place butter in an 8x8 baking dish and let it melt while you’re prepping the rest of the ingredients.
Combine sugar, flour, milk
Pour into the melted butter, DON’T stir
Add the fruit on top, DON’T stir
Bake for 1 hour
Cook's Notes:
Who buys self-rising flour? Just add 1/2 tsp each: baking soda, baking powder, and salt to your flour.
